Sad news from OBC

Today we received a most disturbing message from Kenya: Mutiso, one of our boys at Onesimus, died!

He left the home yesterday evening, without permission, to play football and didn’t come home after that. This morning some boys, on their way to school, saw his body lying in the field, close to the airport. Mutiso had obviously been killed by someone, due to several stab wounds found on his body. We suspect that something occurred before he was murdered. There might have been some sort of problem between Mutiso and the murderer. The police are investigating it at the moment. We are trying to contact his family. If we succeed, they can decide were they want Mutiso to be buried.

The other boys are dreadfully cut up by it: they have lost their friend and brother. On the other hand they are calm and the lower classes are gong to school tomorrow to take their last exams of this year (year 8 has finished school and is at home).

We are all extremely stunned, we have known Mutiso for years, before he went to Onesimus he lived in Dickson as well.
