If you have a sim-lock free phone we recommend that you buy a Kenyan phone number for 1 euro. This is much cheaper than using your own (foreign!) provider. You can always upgrade your phone with at least 1 euro. A bargain!!! Is there a minimum period for which I have to do voluntary work? No. We don’t demand a minimum stay for voluntary work at our projects. We do recommend however a minimum stay of at least 3 weeks. This is the time you will need to get to know the work, the projects and the children and to be able to fully enjoy your stay as a volunteer. If a certain period has more than one applicant our preference will go to volunteers who are willing to stay longer. We will inform you accordingly after having received your application.
